[Industry News] Tokyo Game Show Recap

Tokyo Game Show is one of the biggest video gaming events in the world, annually drawing nearly 300,000 visitors. Held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, the event floor spans across 3 large event halls with meetings rooms and new innovation sections in other smaller event halls. This year’s event saw added focus on eSports and VR gaming, with dedicated sections to these emerging game sectors. Blockchain gaming projects such as Hash Rush and Spell of Genesis had independent booths, further stamping blockchain technology’s presence in the video game industry.

The Alphaslot team in attendance also had the chance to experience first-hand some of the new hot titles to hit the video game world in 2019, including Jump Force, an upcoming console game featuring characters from Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto, and other Jump comic favorites. With many new games putting priority on character customization, experience point-based leveling systems, and freedom of item usage, these new elements of gaming fit right into the scope of the Alphaslot development. The SLOT token becoming the utility token of the Alphaslot Blockchain ecosystem, and the ALPHABOT as the unique and collectable in-game avatars, the Alphaslot Team looks to bring more entertainment value to the status-quo of gaming.
